The Audiometric Evaluation 

For audiometric evaluation, we use the newest and most modern equipment currently available. The Auricle is used to evaluate the hearing threshold of a person. We use an audiometer and special audiometric testing techniques to determine the hearing threshold and identify and quantify the degree of hearing loss of a person. 

The appropriate referral for medical treatment or possible hearing aid fitting can be prescribed from these results. The audiometer presents tones of different frequencies to the patient’s ear at various levels. The hearing threshold is the level at which the person can hear the stimulus.
